Mornings are usually spent game viewing within Etosha National Park and afternoons in the Ongava Reserve.

You can get the best of both worlds by combining vehicle game drives with game walks, where you can track Rhino on foot during your Namibia safari. The dry winter months from June to September are considered best times to visit, as the foliage has withered and animals congregate at waterholes. However, anytime is a good time as this park comes to life with the rains from January to March and many animals give birth.
Etosha National Park has good concentrations of Elephant, Lion, Leopard, Black Rhino and all of Namibia's plains game including Springbok, Gemsbok, and Hartebeest. Ongava Game Reserve also has White Rhino so guests can experience a wonderful variety of animals during their Namibia safari.
Birdlife around the waterholes is good with Ostrich, Pygmy Falcon and all the raptors in abundance. Some of the local specials include Short-Toed Rock Thrush, Hartlaub's Francolin, Freckled Nightjar and Meyer's Parrot.
